what to give for one year old when he is having dry cough ..??what are the medications has to be given...having cold also

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cough along with Cold most of the time is a viral illness and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration. you can give steam inhalation which is very useful .
cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitussives medicine which should be given only after a proper evaluation by the doctor according to the ttype of cough.
if fever is there paracetamol can be given to reduce the fever and the dose can be repeated after 6 hours agavin if required .

See this way we cannot suggest any medication so we are not allowed to suggest many seconds for this thing you always have to go ahead with a consultation with your doctor and then only you go ahead with giving any medicine suggested by the doctor because without a person assessment in general also you should never give any medicine to theWrite Your Answer Here
