Baby may cry because of many reasons some common reasons are:
1. If having colic issue then give colicaid 
2. Nasal blackage then give nasal drop
3. Hungry then feed them
4. Rubbing their eyes or ear put them to sleep
5.Wanting attention hold them in ur arms
6. If teething then give them massage in their gums
7. Feeling bored then take ur baby for a walk....this always works if above all are not the reason

whenever the child is crying excessively you have to take hold of the child in the arms.
you have to find the cause of excessive crying because it can be due to either hunger or it might be due to colic at this age.
after breastfeeding also if the the crying continues you can give anti colic medicines and massage and treatment on the line of colic pain.
you can walk briskly by holding the child on the shoulder and also sing a lullaby. x
also see for any local discomfort or temperature variations (hot or cold).
for nasal blockage related crying give nasal saline drops. x
observe for oral ulcers or fungal infection causing pain.
