Q.
What should I do if my baby is not comfortable with breastfeeding? My baby is just born (16 days old) but not accepting my breastfeed and crying a lot. When I feed my milk in a feeding bottle she is taking in. How to improvise and overcome this situation?

ExpertDr.Sabiha AnjumObstetrician and Gynaecologist4 years agoA. Check if your nipple is having any cracks or if it is inverted. There have been instances where because of these two conditions and the baby will not be able to suckle properly. Also check the oral cavity of the baby to see if there is any tongue tie or lip tie which might be causing problems for the baby to suckle Write Your Answer Here

Hi Mommy Take healthy protein rich nutritious food including fenugreek ajwain butter to increase your breast milk avoid stress stay happy it also help to increase your breast milk you can take lactogen tablet to increase bm Try to keep head up position while feeding Burp well after evey feeding by holding your baby in straight right position and wait for burping atleat ten minutes
