preeti kumariMom of a 3 yr 10 m old girl3 years agoA. 10 drops of honey in 10 ml Luke warm water..give it to your baby for cough.my doctor suggested me for my 9th month baby and it was effective.

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cough along with Cold most of the time is a viral illness and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration. you can give steam inhalation which is very useful .
cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitussives medicine which should be given only after a proper evaluguation by the doctor according to the type of cough.h
if fever is there paracetamol can be given to reduce the fever and the dose can be repeated after 6 hours again if required .
