A child should gain minimum of 500 g in a month after birth to maximum 1 kg in a month so if you calculate on the basis of minimum weight gain it should be 1 kg kilogram more than the weight and if it is more than that also then that is healthy but minimum calculate should be 1 kg kilogram plus by completing the time of two months
