POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 5 m old boy3 years agoA. It is a birthmark and a benign or noncancerous tumor that is usually not dangerous or worrisome. It is caused by a bunch of small blood vessels (capillaries) that clump together in the top layer of the skin while the baby is developing in the womb. Then, after the baby is born, the clump grows.
