shreya goelMom of a 7 yr 8 m old boy4 years agoA. Hello mom Baby weight should be triple in a year according to birth weight and after one year baby gain weight slowly. An average weight of five months old baby should be around 5-7 kgs. Baby should be totally on mother’s milk till baby turned six months old after that you can start giving solids and water
