For proper growth and health of the child give him balanced diet
Include 2 serving of fruits per day
3 katori of vegetables
3 serving of milk and milk products
3 to 4 servings of cereals grains and pulses like oats wheat, daal, sprouts beans
Also include nuts and seeds in the diet like cashew, almonds, dates, peanuts, walnuts
Reduce the intake of fried food, chips, chocolate and biscuits
Also if the child is active and alert then don’t worry much about weight.. looking thin doesn’t mean that child is not healthy
Sai Prasanthi R LMom of a 11 yr 6 m old boy4 years agoA. Hello dear parent! Include seasonal fruits and vegetables, green leafy vegetables, nuts, dry fruits and dairy in the diet. Avoid outside foods. Give 3 large meals and 2 small snacks in a day. Let the child be physically active. Include all food groups in your child’s diet that is staple in your family.
