We travelled one state to another since then I observed that my baby's feet and palms are slightly hotter than rest of the body. Why so?

A. Fever is the reaction of the body towards any kind of infection or any inflammatory process in body and only when the temperature is above 99F it is considered as fever, so you can give paracetamol in a dose of 15 mg per kg body weight/dose as the first line treatment this dose can be again repeated after every 5 to 6 hours if again required and you can also do cold sponging of the body to reduce fever in between the doses ,but if it continues even thereafter you should consult your doctor for proper treatment. if the temperature is not controlled by paracetamol alone meftal p can be given in between as a single dose but only under medical guidance.these medicines will also work to relieve any pain or body ache to a good extent. but in case of infection in which the fever is associated with other problems also it is recommended to get the clinical assemassssment done and get a proper treatment done by a doctor.

A. hello just check for the temperature using thermometer which should be better and if temperature is normal then not a problem otherwise it is better to check with your doctor and your doctor will be able to guide you better on examination of the same and advise you accordingly
