Q.
We have a 20 days old baby...due to my work I need to relocate with my family to UK.... Could you please advice when is the ideal time (after how many weeks of baby birth) to travel in flight for a infant and what are the precautions we need to take while traveling in flight? how to handle the flight pressure when take off and landing?

ExpertDr Laxmi Chavan-SawantAyurvedic Gynaecologist 2 years agoA. it is actually advisable not to travel till 1 and a half months or 2 months after delivery so as to avoid any complications to the baby as well as mother as both of them have low immunity and take care while travelling do not feed your baby at the time of take off or landing of light

well please consult your pediatrician prior to decide the flight as shes very young
please keep adaquate medication with you
please keep her well hydrated
