Mam there could be two situations associated with what you are mentioning it could be due to deficiency of iron that your child is not making an eye contact and speech sometimes can be there by the age of 2 1/2 years but if the child is not responding to which name over then it could be a problem like if suppose 6 out of 10 times your child is not responding to its name so there can be a problem you please consult your doctor regarding that
