Q.
#unfortunately my baby has fallen from bed...she cried for sometime and has slept now....we are confused and shocked now....being sunday not able to find doctor....just want to check how serious this can be?

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Any Fall injury specially head injury needs to be assessed properly . In any such case certain symptoms needs to be checked like loss of consciousness reccurrent vomiting or any abnormal moment or convulsions . Such case needs immediate medical intervention as there could be some internal injury . Otherwise application of ice locally to reduce the swelling and pain can be done along with some analgesic like paracetamol.
Recurrent fall injury for a child shhould be avoided as it can hulead to some chronic manifestations occasionally .
Also teeth injury should be rule out in any such case which is commonly associated and can be easily missed out most of the time .
