Q.

Today I have seen pinworm in the rectum area of 2 years old baby. But I she had already taken Albendazole on 20th June, can she take again albendazole again?

A. but she is reinfected by pinworm, Now what should be given for deform.

A. Deworming medicine needs to be given routinely to every cchild after one year of age and the dose is 200 mg of albendazole once at night time and then repeat the same dose after 14 days once this cycle should bhe repeated every six months at least till 5 year of age but it is advisable to give this medicine only after taking guidance by your doctor
