Q.

This year polio is not conducted in Bengaluru and karnataka. Can anyone please let me know if the polio was held this year or will be held

A. pulse polio immunization is extra dosage irrespective of the vaccination schedule as well as the vaccination that is been givven to the child. it is advisable that you get the child vaccinated for polio if the child is cnot having any type of fever at present. simple cough and cold is not a contraindication for polio drops. it is usually available at any government centre that is primary and centre or urban health centre
