My son had a fever 102 , 4 days back .the fever is gone but the cough n cold is still there. the baby has lost weight and the appearance as well in last 4 days. he has lost his appetite .. only taking breast milk. we are giving Flucold and Asthalin Syr on docs advice. he is just not eating at all.??

Cold most of the time is a  viral illness where there could be running nose sneezing along with cough and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration . steam inhalation will also be useful in this .
cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitussives medicine  whedich should be used once a proper evaluation by the doctor is done and  according to the type of cough its pregscribed.
if any  fever is there paracetamol can be given to reduce the temperature and the dose can be repeated again after 6 hours  if required .
