Q.
there is a movable, near about 1 cm, swollen lump under the skin between the right ear and neck of my 2.7yrs baby. she has no pain, no fever, no abnormalities due to it. it is not enlarging too. our Doctor advised not to use hair oil for two months. what is it? how long will it take to vanish?

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. they are lymph nodes and are part of normal human body. you have to take any intervention and meet your doctor only if they are causing pain as well as they are increasing in size.
many times during infection they fwill increase in size and they will again decrease in size when the infection gets controlled.

It is advisable to get the baby evaluated by a doctor and follow doctors advise properly. You can also book online doctor’s appointment on FirstCry where the doctor can help you and guide you properly
