Sir, My son weight at the time of birth is 3.2kg but now he is 14 month's old and his weight is 7.25kg only . is he under weight or not.

ExpertDr Disha PatelAyurvedic Physician3 years agoA. weight n weight gain is very poor, he came in severe acute malnutrition category.. Do Consult your paedritician to rule out underlying cause of underweight and treatment accordingly.

Give three meal and two snacks including seasonal fruits vegetables cereals porridge khichadi kheer eggs sweet potato potato porridge etc
Maintain hydration
Give well balanced nutritious food including fat carbohydrates protein
