always wash your hands before touching your child.
once consult your paediatrician for proper examination of the child and start treatment as advised by your doctor

For the time being I would advise you to start applying boroplus plus anti septic cream on to that area because that would be the better want to go it is a face cream also as well as it was an anti septic cream it will really help a lot in settling down the rashes
