sir mera baby 25 days ka hai usko khasi jhuka ho.rakha hai khasi takat laga ke le raha hai jaise ulti kar dega ek doctor ne bola usko steam dilwao sir kitne din tak steam dilwau pls help me sir aur sir maxtra syrup pila raha hu pure din soya rehta hai aisa kyu sir

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cough along with Cold most of the time is a viral illness and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration. you can give steam inhalation which is very useful .
cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitussives medicine which should be given only after a proper evalrruation by the docttor according to the type of cough.
if fever is there paracetamol can be given to reduce the fever and the dose can be repeated after 6 hours again if required .
