Hello there ma’am please do not worry about it too much. nasal saline drops can be given again and again to the child because it is salt water which will help in decreasing the nasal blockage by clearing the mucus try to prevent temperature variations around the child which is the most common cause of cough and cold in small children.can give indirect steam inshalation . anti-cold medicines at this age have got side effects so can be given only after medical consultation. You can also rub Vicks Vaporub on baby clothes near chest area.

No there is no need to give any medicine without your paediatrician advice you have to have an assessment with your doctor on that in the first place and then according to that only they will be able to help you with correct medication to be given to the child
