In utero, the vaginal epithelium of the neonate is stimulated by maternal hormones that cross the placenta into the fetal circulation. After delivery, these hormone levels fall rapidly, and a thick, grayish-white, mucoid discharge from the neonate's vagina can be observed. The secretion usually resolves in 10 days
Just maintain proper hygiene by cleaning the area with normal water and pat it dry with soft cotton cloth

A little bit of vaginal discharge with a girl child is completely normal still if it is much on a regular basis or yellow colour then in that case you can get it checked with your your doctor you can talk to them about it if anything is there then they will guide you accordingly
