Q.

Since two days child is having fever we are giving calpol drops since two days d headand body is mild warm and also dry coughing in between #AskTheExpert

A. any one cov8d positive in family Baby is having cold cough and fever then it can be due to viral infection you need to give him steam inhalation indirectly to times in the day and also keep him well hydrated .consult with your doctor near by who will examine the baby and guide you with appropriate medications in their proper dose. Viral fever can last from 3-5 days so you need to to give the prescribed medications for this duration at least and if it is persistent beyond you need to go for the investigation as per the advice of the doctor

A. no one in family is covid positive but me ans wife had viral fever and cold cough since two days
