since 3 days baby is suffering from bad cold ,cough, mucus sound is coming but it's not coming out from his chest.. what to do

A. hi your baby is 20 months old now to relieve cough give steam inhalation warm massage to chest and apply vicks baby vaporub on chest and give mucolite syrup 3.5 ml twice a day for 5 days

A. doctor I m giving ascoril with allercet syrup...along with these should I give mucolite??
