should we let the 3months old baby put his fingers in his mouth?

A. Thumb sucking in infants is a very normal phenomenon and its called mouthing reflex and nothing to be worried about it just maintain proper hygiene and with time this thing will go . In the toddlers thumb sucking habit is also seen many a times whfich could be phycological cause and feeling of insecurity or some stress . Just try to make the child comfortable and divert in some activities also spend good time with the child . In extreme case withdrawal can be tried bwith some solution available which are bitter like femite lotion . It needs to be applied locally .

A. It’s Normal habit of a child is completely normal but most of the times kids are going to do it when they’re having their teeth and your child is already three months plus so I think that’s the reason why your child is having and fingers and or thumb into the mouth most of the time
