A. Hello, your baby boy is 5 months old and if he has some injuries in the colon or a rectal polyp on it’s ruptured so you can see the blood in his stools

A. if you are experiencing blood in the stool of the child with different layers it is important to get the child examine for any type of anal pathology as well as for some type of infections locally

A. A common cause of blood in an infant's stool is a slight anal tear (fissure) from baby straining with the passage of the stool. The small amount of blood from an anal fissure tends to look like a red streak on the outside of the stool. Another common cause of blood in the stools of infants is food allergies.
