pus in umbilical cord hi I have 6dys old baby boy with his umbilical cord inside there is pus what should I do is it dangerous ..

It’s normal to be seen maybe there is light infection building inside of the area I would just advise you to consult consult your doctor will help you with the cream ointment that you can apply currently what is going to be helpful in reducing down the child facing these things are common to be seen so do not get paranoid
