A. Main cause for diaper rash can be because of any of the mentioned points- -not changing the diaper for a long time, -not using a good quality diaper/it might not be suitable for your kids skin -not getting sufficient air Advice- U can use diaper rash creams, coconut oil which is the best, or change the diaper brand and check for it, try to keep your kid just in the pants for few hours so that they get proper required air on the skin, and most importantly keep changing the diaper often because if that is not done then it can cause rash as well as your kid may also catch cold because of the wet diaper.

A. from my personal experience wash the baby with lukewarm water and pat dry.. leave open for 20-30 minutes and then apply coconut oil and put on the diaper... my baby never had rash by following this procedure.. Also change the diaper frequently like after 3 or 4 hours.. avoid wiping with wipes as much as possible cause rubbing irritates their sensitive skin .. hope that helps

A. Don’t use any brand wipes. Wash baby butt with clean water with your hands. Hands are the softest than other things. Just dab with cotton cloth. Leave open for a while. Then while wearing diaper apply little bit of normal coconut oil. Change diaper every 2-3 hrs until rash is cure. Please see a good paediatrician. Every baby is different don’t forget. Don’t go gaga over rash creams. None of the market brands cream worked for my baby. Take care.

A. Hi. i am a pediatrician as well as a mother. For diaper rash you can use razu napi cream or any such diaper rash cream but there are some other things that are also very important 1. donot use wipes of any kind 2. donot rub the area with anything not even cotton 3. use only water to wash the area. pat dry with a cotton cloth. again donot rub 4. change diaper every 4-6hrs even if not fully filled 5. use a size not too tight for the baby 6. use coconut oil/ vaseline jelly after cleaning routinely. 7. avoid diapers as much as possible. newborns are specially more sensitive. this sensitivity to diapers will decrease with age
