Q.
our paediatrician has asked to give warm compress on baby chest n back to relieve mucus or cold. can anyone tell me how many times in a day we should give warm compress n for how many minutes at each?

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 10 m old boy5 years agoA. there is no compulsion as well as rules as how many times it could be done. you have to do in such a manner that the child is not uncomfortable and also the temperature regulation has to be maintained

Hello mam it is completely your choice as to how many times can you give it 3 to 4 times would be really good and a minimum time should be 3 to 4 minutes as that way the heat will get into the body and will release mucus from the body so 3 to 4 minutes should be fine or you can extend the time if you wish to.Write Your Answer Here
