1. **Identify the Cause**: Try to determine if the rash is due to an allergic reaction, irritation, or another cause. Common triggers include new skincare products, foods, or environmental factors.
2. **Keep the Area Clean**: Gently wash the affected area with a mild, fragrance-free cleanser and lukewarm water. Avoid scrubbing or using harsh products.
3. **Moisturize**: Use a gentle, hypoallergenic moisturizer to keep the skin hydrated and help reduce irritation.
4. **Avoid Irritants**: Refrain from using new or harsh skincare products, and avoid sun exposure or other potential irritants.
5. **Over-the-Counter Treatments**: For mild rashes, you might use over-the-counter hydrocortisone cream or antihistamine cream, but consult a healthcare provider first.
6. **Consult a Doctor**: If the rash is persistent, worsening, or accompanied by other symptoms, seek medical advice. A healthcare provider can diagnose the condition and recommend appropriate treatment.
