PujaMom of a 4 yr 3 m old girl3 years agoA. Hi, every baby is unique and it differs. Teach your child to speak the basic words like mumma, papa, and whatever is convenient for th to learn. The number of words doesn’t matter. Babies learn whatever they hear around them, whatever you speak… So, don’t worry, keep trying!!

then by 12 to 14 months of age baby say two to three words followed by jargon speech at 15-16 months .
child can start saying simple sentences by two years of age .
just make the chfild comfortable andh do more interaction with the child so that he can learn to speak sentences properly.
if the speech does not comes even by three years of age you need to consult your doctor for a proper assessment of the child .
