Q.
my wife is suffering from covid for last 3 days. we have a 5 months baby. can she do breast feeding??? she is having fever. can d baby get covid ?? if yes how would we know?.

ExpertDr Disha PatelAyurvedic Physician3 years agoA. hi, yes, shecan breast feed her 5 month old baby with proper precautions. Wash hands frequently with soap and water or use alcohol-based hand rub and especially before touching the baby;
Wear a medical mask during any contact with the baby, including while feeding;
Sneeze or cough into a tissue. Then dispose of it immediately and wash hands again;
Routinely clean and disinfect surfaces after touchingg them
