Q.

my ten day old baby boy demands feed for two hours at a strech leading to painful nipples. he want to latch even when he is sleep. after feeding as soon as I lay him down he gets up and opens his mouth searching for the nipples. please advice

A. Yea for comfort purpose baby will use breast for comfort and safety. Even when they are not hungry. They just wanna suck for comfort nothing else. They feel secure doing it so especially more at night times. Until you stop feeding this would continue justvfor comfort purpose.
