Q.

My son who will be of 9 months on 14th October and according to the vaccination chart he needs to take MMR vaccine. But his vaccination schedule is delayed by one month but the last vaccination was taken when he completed 8th month, So can he take MMR on 9th month completion or delay this also by 2 month and take it on 10th month completion.

A. Birth. - BCG + hepatitis B + OPV 6,10,14 weeks -- dpt + hep B + hib +Ipv Pcv + Rotavirus 6 months--. Typhoid , Influenza 1st dose + opv 7 months --- Influenza 2 nd dose 9 months --- Mmr + opv mcv( meningococcal) optional. 1 year ---- Hepatitis A. mcv 2 nd dose 15 months---. varicella( chicken pox) . mmr 2nd dose 18 months ----. dpt + hib + ipv Booster Hepatitis A 2nd dose Pcv booster 2 years. Typhoid 2 nd dose Influenza ( every year ) 4-5 yrs. chicken pox 2 nd dose dpt booster opvc 10 years. DT. + hpv ( for girls)
