Q.
My son s 3 month old he s suffering cough and cold.. can give t mimic or ambrosxol hydrochloride drops(mucolite)

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children2 years agoA. Cough along with Cold most of the time is a viral illness and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration. you can give steam inhalation which is very useful .
cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitussives medicine which should be given only aftegr a proper evaluation by the doctor according to the type of cough.
if fever is there paracetamol can be given to reduce the fever and the dose cuan be repeated after 6 hours again if required .

RashmiMom of a 11 yr old girl2 years agoA. Ye child is too small you should not be giving any medicine to file without consulting the doctor Azadpur not be the right thing to be done and we do not even recommend you to go ahead with that so kindly cross check with your doctor for sure
