My son is suffering from cough and cold. Dr examined and said that there is infection in his chest. He gave medicines but after that baby is pooping oily, watery and mucous like, frequently. Yesterday it was yellow, today it's green. Dr is saying that it's the mucous from his chest coming out in form of motion. I am worried. My baby is restless. If I give if infection medicines then hi suffers from loose motion and if I stop that medication, he coughs a lot. plz suggest what should I do.

along with that cough expectorant and decongestant with antiallergic medicine given.
steam inhalation can be given frequently to relieve the symptoms.

You should tell your doctor that the child is suffering with loose motions after the medication maybe the medicines are not suiting well so they’ll change another medicines and sometimes mucus can be due to an infection in the stomach only so that is why the mucus could be there and also could be that it is melting out of the system further more your doctor would be able to change the medicines if they are not suiting
