Q.
My son is one year and three months old. he has suffring from fever for one week and has lost weight. He is very irritated. It also becomes like a small red rash on his body. Please provide information about this.

ExpertDr Disha PatelAyurvedic Physician3 years agoA. keep temperature checking 6 hourly.. And give paracetamol drops / syp in proper dose.
Fevers higher than 104° F. should be attended to immediately.
Dress your child lightly. Use a sheet instead of a blanket to cover her in bed.
see that room is adequately ventilated
Breastfeed or give your baby formula often to maintain hydration of body.
Give soft easy to digest diet.
maintain proper hygein. use calamine lotion
