Q.
my son is having cough n cold. I can hear slight crackling sound in his breath. not exactly wheezing but some crackling vibration coming from his chest. I am nebulizing him as well since last night but still that sound is there.

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy2 years agoA. This can occur due to either allergy or infection and some times due to climate changes around child.
For cold / running nose give syp wikoryl AF 5 ml to the child 2- 3 times per day. (Helps in decreasing running nose and cold)
Prevent temperature variations around the child and give nasal saline drops every tdhree hourly for nasal congestion and block.
Indirect steam help in decreasing coughing
For fever and pain give paracetamol
Go for homfe remedies like Tulsi Ginger honey diluted with water combination and turmeric with milk at least 2 times per day.
Give warm water to drink.
