Q.

My son is a late speaker . he started speaking late and now only able to speak to three words together . Is that fine .

A. Regarding Speech Baby usually start mono syllable by 6 to 7 months of age then by syllable words come by 9 to 10 months of age then by 12 to 14 months of age baby say two to three words followed by jargon speech at 15-16 months . child can start saying simple sentences by two years of age . just make the child comfortacble and do more interaction with the child so that he can learn to speak sentences properly. if the speech does not comes even by three years of age you need to consult your doctor for a proper assessment of the child .

A. if baby is speaking few words also you need not to be worried over this issue it is perfectly fine some babies do delay in achieving milestone but gradually they will definitely be on the track
