Q.
My son is 4 months 4 days old . he getting tight stool nd he drink only similac not mother's milk..

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy2 years agoA. normally hardness of the stool is not seen when you are giving only breastfeeding to the child.
it is advisable to continue only breastfeeding and nothing else till completion of 6 months of age.
if still the hard stool continues you have to visit the doctor to find the cause.
but if you are giving formula mzilk then there is a possibility that the milk is not properly digested by the child and you will have to change the brand of formula milk.
also do znot give any food to the child except milk at this age.

RashmiMom of a 11 yr old girl2 years agoA. when a child is on on formula feeding sometimes this problem can happen so I was is advised add some fennel seeds into the water that you boy for making formula feeling that they certainly going to be very helpful in reducing down this issue
