Q.

My son is 3 years old. He has been going to school(pre primary) since April this year but it's been around 6 months he still cries while dropping off and he keeps on crying for an hour and so in school. We are always trying to make him positive to go to school with a lot of stories and conversations but we don't see any change in his attitude towards schools. We are really concerned now as he gets into a lot of stress as the school time comes and it's been 6 months now. Can someone share any thoughts on what we should do.

A. it is very common that children may not go to school during the first few weeks when school starts. it is very important on the side of parents that they should encourage the child at home and tell only positive points regarding school as wzell as the teachers. this is just a passing phase and gradually the child will start liking the school. at this age the child gets a proper iq soz that you can share your experience sis regarding the school life which will again help in changing the mind set of the child

A. Normally kids settle down within the time of a month or so but what year you can do is First I’m not sure with which class your child is it should be pre-nursery or play group right secondly leave your child in the school for half an hour to 1 hour and then slowly increase the time gap I think that is going to help because from the beginning itself this is the right way to put the child into school and that’s how you should increase the time
