my son is 3 months 20 days, I noticed white patches back of neck two days ago which was not there earlier, I consulted local pediatrician doc said it might be birth mark or birth defect manifested now but same lesion is behind ear now, I think it's fungal infection should I consult dermatologist???

A. Hi dear mom. Yes white patches on the skin is the fungal infection.. Apply coconut oil it daily, it will be fine. Use pure coconut oil. If it does not get cured then consult with ur doctor for the same
