Q.

My son is 3.10 years. He has cold and cough. Without visiting a doctor Is there any way (home diagnosis) to know if he has chest congestion

A. Cough and Cold should be treated only after a proper examination by a doctor as there may be some associated factor . As the first line of treatment you can give steam inhalation which would be helpful . Cough Syp should be given onhfly after a proper evaltuation .
