my son is 2yr 9month had a sudden fever of 98.8F last night and there was mucus present in his poop.please help me out whether I should consult with doctor or not.

examination is needed by the doctor for need of antibiotics.
can give probiotics like econorm / sporolac / enterogermina one to two times as per dr's recommendations. s
give easily digestible food.
ors to be given if loose motion is in more quantity to prevent dehydration and ensure adequate glucose level in the body.
