my son has become two year now bt he says only mama n papa nothing else .he is pointing all things .

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Regarding Speech Baby usually start mono syllable by 6 to 7 months of age then by syllable words come by 9 to 10 months of age
then by 12 to 14 months of age baby say two to three words followed by jargon speech at 15-16 months .
child can start saying simple sentences by two years of age .
just make the child comfortable and do more interaction with the child so that he can learn to speak sentences properly.
if the speech does not comes even by three years of age you need to consulht yourb doctor for a proper assessment of the child .

Along with what you mentioned is your child understanding every thing that you are talking like following simple instructions and understanding in doing things whatever is needed as per the age so practical if your child is doing all these things and speech can come by the age of 2 1/2 to 3 years but in this case you really need to encourage your child to talk and speak moreWrite Your Answer Here
