Q.
My son had a birth weight of 3kg, then he lost his weight to 2.5 kg within 6 days.. now he is almost of 2 months n his weight is 3kg .Is this weight gain in normal pace?

ExpertVandana SharmaNutritionist1 Year agoA. hello mom the weight gain is quite low because mostly after birth babies do loose some weight and then start to put on .. monthly weight gain is expected in the range of 300 gm to 1 kg and by the age of 4 to 6 months they double their birth weight
