first maintain proper gap between meal and snacks time.
encourage your child to do more physical activities.
offer small and frequent meal with energy dense food items.
make your child food presentation attractive.
for example
you can offer fruits in different shapes like star heart smiles etc using shape cutter.
or add cheese on paratha ,it will help to encourage your child to take interest in food.

to look skinny is not a problem
a child needs to remain happy and active .
so if a child looks happy and active, gains enough weight then no need to worry about his or her appearance.
although for healthy weight gain,offer food like potato,sweet potatoes,rice which are full of starch.
you can also give fruits like apple banana papaya which are full of energy.
include different dairy products like paneer curd ghee milk etc in your child diet.
