Q.
My son 4 yr 9 months old. After DPT vaccination on Saturday (May 11), my son has swelling and pain at injection site (left thigh). Further, my son has difficulty in walking. No fever. Daily thrice giving wet cloth (ice) and hot cloth treatment. Earlier , never seen problem of difficultly in walking after vaccination. Please advise.

Why are you doing both cold and hot compress that’s not clear to me because you’re only meant to do cold compress during this time and after that you can apply or two for swelling yet if you see the problem is persisting even after two or three days of vaccination then in that case you should connect with your paediatrician for that
