Q.

my son 22 month old.. his penis bulge while passing urine and some times he put pressure while urinating.. some times he passes urine more number of times... got to know it is phimosis... doctor suggested for surgery.. is it mandatory.. any other medication...

A. we should consult paediatric surgeon

A. your child is having phimosis. your doctor will give you local cream application which can be applied on penis foreskin to to decrease phimosis by sliding the foreskin present on the penis backwards. it has to be done daily during the bathing process for at least 1 month and if the problem continues even after that and the child is having recurrent pain as well as urinary tract infections then only surgical intervention is needed remain in contact with your doctor
