Q.

My son 2.6 yrs old has fever 99+ and I gave p120 2.5ml at 10.30PM. Seems like I gave wrong dosage. Please suggest if I can give the dosage now? If yes, how much I should give? I've both P120 and P250 available with me now.

A. Fever is when the temperature of the body goes above 99 degree fahrenheit and the safest medicine in such situation is paracetamol which can be repfeated after 6 hours again if required in a proper dose . Alternative medicine can also be tried if required like ibuprofen and mexfenamic acid preparations. cold sponging of the whole body with tap water can be beneficial too to bring the temperature down .

A. The It should be somewhere around 3ML at this age and you can only repeat the medicine after six hours not before that so once your medicine time complete six hours then only you can give it immediate medicines should never be given to the child
