Q.

My six month old baby does not drink from the bottle. He is on ebf since beginning. Trying to introduce water through a bottle but not taking the bottle. Any tips that can help ?

A. Hi, please avoid giving water until baby complete six months. Continue exclusively breastfeeding until the completion of six month which is good for baby’s growth and immunity. And after completion of six month you need to start with semisolid food and water. You can give water using spoon or glass directly. Which is the best habit. Do not start bottle habit and it will be addiction for the baby if it get used once. And if the bottle is not sterilised properly it will lead to infection.Write Your Answer Here
